Step 6: Activate and Update Your Plugins
After you log in, go to your WordPress administration dashboard for your website. The next thing is to add plugins. They extend the functionality of your website.
When you install a website with the training provider I use, they pre-install three of the most relevant plugins with your website automatically. Your role is jto activate them.
What’s the purpose of Plugins?
Plugins play various functions. One of them, is to help you get found and ranked by search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo (SEO),. Also, they compress and optimize all the images on your website automatically.
You are ready to go Live once your website is set-up. You are ready to go.
